Lynda M. Rader

Lynda M. Rader, 72, of East Moline, IL, passed away, June 4, 2026, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Private family burial will take place at Greenview Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Lynda was born on January 19, 1954, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Louella (Baker) Mullikin. She married Richard W. Rader in Moline on August 12, 1972. Lynda was a Jehovah’s Witness, and she loved her grandchildren deeply.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; children, Heather (Sean) Smiddy of East Moline, IL and Justin (Kelly) Rader of Milan, IL; grandchildren, Connor (Maggie Griffith) Smiddy of East Moline, IL, Jace Rader of Milan, IL, and Ronni Rader of Milan, IL; sister, Sally (Robert Pursley) Dose of Brooklyn, IA; brother-in-law, Dan Newburg of Rapid City, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Bonnie Fiser and Kathleen Newburg, and brother, Robert Mullikin.
