M. Sylvia Park

M. Sylvia Park, 96, of East Moline, passed away April 25, 2025, at Silvis Center for Nursing Rehab & Care, Silvis.

Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday July 1, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church and inurnment will follow at Moline Memorial Park.

M. Sylvia was born on May 27, 1928, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred and Mary (Russ) Meyer. She married Alan E. Park on October 20, 1951, in Dubuque. He preceded her in death on October 30, 2011.

Sylvia was a devout Catholic throughout her life. She was an active supporter of the arts and public libraries. She was a dedicated, loving, mother to eight children, nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
