Margaret Grothusen, age 91, of Moline, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
Margaret was born April 30, 1921 in Moline, the daughter of Harold and Regina Larson Anderson. She married William "Bill" Grothusen on February 14, 1941 in Maquoketa, IA. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2004.
Margaret was employed in the auditing department for Deere & Company from 1957- 1981.
