Margaret Jackson

Margaret Jackson, 90, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Silver Cross Health and Rehabilitation, Rock Island, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estates. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan.
Margaret was born on September 28, 1921 in Farmington, IL, the daughter of John J. and Ruth (Huff) Worthington. She married Russell Olen on December 24, 1940 in Knoxville, IL. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2005. She worked for Black Hawk College and Quad Cities Training Center, retiring in 1983. Margaret was a member of First Christian Church in Moline as well as a 50 year member of the Honor Bright King's Daughter Circle. She and her husband enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S. and wintering in Florida and Texas. Margaret also enjoyed square dancing, bike riding, playing Bridge and the organ.
