Margaret "Marge" Hoffman

Margaret (Marge) Hoffman,101, of Silvis, passed away May 23rd, 2026, at New Perspective in Silvis.

Cremation Rites have been accorded. A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial of cremains will be at St.Hedwigs Cemetery  in Thorp, Wisconsin.

Margaret (Marge) Joann Hoffman was born on February 17th, 1925, in Thorp, the daughter of Joseph and Julia Kobylarczyk. She married Donald Hoffman in Thorp on June 18th, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1999. She loved gardening and was a member of New Perspective’s Rosary Society. She also enjoyed golfing with her husband Don, where she once hit a hole in one at Byron Hills Golf Course. The family would also like to give special thanks to the staff at Compassus Hospice, and New Perspective. Especially the caregivers, for all the love and care they gave to our mom. They truly are God’s angels.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Pete) Beale, Cindy Gengler, Debra (Steve) Karr, and 2 grandchildren, Peter Beale, and Jessica (Tyler) Renkin.

She was preceded in death by her husband Don, 6 sisters and 4 brothers.
