Maria S. Peña

Maria S. Peña, 86, of Moline, IL, passed away, August 29, 2025, at Allure of Quad Cities.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025, at New Life Fellowship Church, Moline Campus. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to New Life Fellowship Missions Fund.

Maria was born on April 28, 1939, in Cass County, North Dakota, the daughter of Manuel and Luisa (Rodriguez) Santos. She married Adrian Peña in Crystal City, Texas on August 19, 1955. Maria enjoyed making flower arrangements, crafting, and collecting porcelain dolls and paperweights. She was an active member at her church, New Life Fellowship.

Survivors include her husband, Adrian; children, Adrian (Debra) Peña Jr., Brenda Hendrickson, Rick Peña, Cindy (Brad) Dixon, and Leroy (Dawn) Peña; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Noemi Ramon, Eva Moran, and Joe Santos.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Manuel Santos Jr. and Lydia Molina.
