Marianne Barnett-Scott

Marianne Barnett-Scott, 72, of Moline, IL, passed away, April 17, 2026, at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday May 12, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline.

Marianne was born on November 14, 1953, in Ottawa, IL, the daughter of David and Luella (May) Barnett. She married Lawrence “Larry” Scott and he preceded her in death on October 8, 2016. She worked as an RN in respiratory therapy at the Lutheran Hospital in Moline. Marianne had received her bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy. She enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Survivors include her brother, John Barnett and her many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
