Marilyn Darlene Boyle, 90, of Moline, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 13, 2022.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Salem Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. A live stream of the service can be found on Marilyn’s obituary page at www.esterdahl.com. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church: salemmoline.org, Spina Bifida of IL: isba.org, Alzheimer’s Association: alz.org.

Marilyn was born on October 19, 1931, in Moline, the daughter of Wallace and Martha (Kron) Fredrickson. She married Paul Boyle on June 7, 1953. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2014. Marilyn was employed for 13 years at United Township High School, retiring in 1992. She formerly worked at American Air Filter. She was active as a 4-H leader, served on her children’s PTA’s, and was part of Jr. Woman’s Club. She was an 85 year member of Salem Lutheran Church where she served on the Council, coordinated many fund-raising garage sales and served as a Sunday School teacher and Bible School teacher. Most of her years were spent raising her children.
She is survived by her son Jeff (Linda) Boyle, daughter Sue (Kevin) Kick, sister Bev (Howard) Hammerstrom; grandchildren- Nikki (Joe) Colombari, Traci Boyle, Eric Black, Casie (Anthony) Bitetto, Lynden (Katelynn) Fields, Kevin (Elena) Kick and great-grandchildren-Sophia, Isabella and Joey Colombari; Leo Fields, Briella Bitetto and Sophia Kick and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Paul, daughter, Cheryl/Sheri (Black) and parents Wallace and Martha Fredrickson.
