Marilyn J. Kraker, age 78, of Moline, died Friday, March 6, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. There is no visitation. Entombment is in Greenview Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Marilyn was born May 21, 1930 in Moline, the daughter of Clyde and Helen (Sidlinger) Marshall. She married John Kraker in Port Byron at the family home.
Marilyn was employed as a caregiver for National Home Care. She was also a lab technician for Martin Laboratory. Marilyn loved cooking, and her family loved eating her cooking. She watched The Food Network shows, and old movies. Marilyn was also an avid reader

She was also a great mother and friend to Janet Upton and Denny Meyerhoff.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
