Marjorie E. Crippen, 97, of Andover, IL, died Monday, January 26, 2015, at home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015, at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301 4th Street, Orion. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Andover Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Andover Lutheran Church or to Andover Village Park Fund.

Marjorie was born on August 4, 1917, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Ferdinand and Hulda Freeman Caouette. She married Robert B. Crippen on October 14, 1939, in Moline, IL, and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2008.

Marjorie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, reading, and tending to her flower garden. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Daniel (Gail Probst) Crippen Burridge, IL
7 grandchildren
18 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob; son, Ralph; 1 infant sister; 2 brothers.
