Marjorie "Midge" May Johnson, 82, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, June 28, 2012 surrounded by her family at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at Christ The King Catholic Church, 3205 60th Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, with a Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice.
Midge was born on September 6, 1929 in Moline, IL, the daughter of John and Emily (DeWulf) Scherber.
She married Albert Edward Johnson, Sr. on May 9, 1953 in Moline, IL. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2003. Midge was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and she enjoyed bowling and swimming. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Midge also enjoyed family get-togethers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and infant son, Gus.
