Marjorie L. Mundt, 84, of East Moline, IL, died Monday, December 22, 2014, at home, after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 5106 28th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Per her wishes cremation rites will follow the services. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.
Marjorie was born on March 2, 1930, in Coal Valley, IL, the daughter of Lester W. and Grace Harsha Baraks. She married Howard J. Mundt on May 23, 1953. She worked in the loan department for 13 years at First National Bank in Moline.
Marjorie was a very active long time member of Moline Gospel Temple, where she was a Deaconess. There, she was a former Sunday school teacher. She was currently a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Moline. Above all, Marjorie was a devoted wife and mother.
Marjorie was a fan of Moline basketball and an avid Cubs fan. She loved walking at South Park Mall and walking her dogs, Lucky, Sadie, and Charlie. She especially loved taking trips to Florida and Nashville with her family.
