Mark W. Behrens, 69, of Moline, died unexpectedly Friday, November 13, 2015, at his residence, after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2900 Avenue of the Cities. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue. Burial will be National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church.
Mark was born on February 23, 1946, in Sterling, IL, the son of Dr. Lee and Clara Louise (Wallace) Behrens. He married Mary Ann L. Jensen on May 26, 1979 at Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Van Meter, IA.
Mark was retired. He graduated in 1968 from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI. Mark served in the USAF from 1969-1973. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Moline. Mark enjoyed fishing and camping.
