Mark H. Poston

Mark H. Poston, 77, of Moline, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Private family services and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.  The inurnment will be at the National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal.  Military rites will be accorded by the Vietnam Veterans of America.  Memorials may be given to the Mississippi Valley Blood Bank or to Rescued Inc.

Mark was born on October 9, 1945, in Canton, Ohio, the son of Ralph and Edna Mae Ballard Poston.  He was employed as a mechanic with Oscar Mayer retiring after 25 years.  Mark was a veteran of the United States Navy.  He loved cars, especially Corvettes and loved to putz around the house.  He was truly his family’s number 1 fan.

Survivors include his children; Kelly Gray, Brian (Stephanie) Poston and Erin (Thomas) Crowe; grandchildren; Jordan Gray, Zachary (Brenna) Gray, Bryce (Madeleine) Poston & Eric Poston: siblings; Terry Poston & Ginny VandeGeest; significant other, Jeanine Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mel.
