Marlene J. Russell

Marlene Russell, 87, of Moline, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at her residence.

Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded and family services will be at a later time.

Marlene was born on August 10, 1938, in Moline, Illinois to Melvin and Gladys (Lincke) Lind. She attended Augustana College and was later employed with K-Mart and at Geifman’s Grocery, both as a cashier. Marlene also worked in the office with Dr. Pinnault and Dr. Thakker and retired from I.H. Mississippi Credit Union as a teller. She enjoyed golfing and traveling.

Marlene is survived by her sons, Scott (Tami) Russell, Steven (Christine) Russell, and Shawn Russell; numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

Marlene is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
