Martha Jane Carlson, 66, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Martha was born on May 5, 1948, in Oakland, CA, the daughter of Jack and Dorothy Reischling Nelson.
She graduated from Alleman High School and Black Hawk College. She married Tom Dumolien. Martha later married William Carlson on April 9, 1994, in Las Vegas, NV.
Martha worked for Short Hills Country Club and as a Registered Nurse for Genesis Medical Center - East Campus, retiring in 2001. She had a great personality and an outstanding memory. She was a compassionate caregiver with an extremely high medical knowledge.
Martha enjoyed traveling, cooking, and reading.
