Marton Bellovics, 84, of East Moline, IL, died Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis, IL.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the Steve Bellovics Foundation.
Marton was born on July 18, 1930, in Nyul, Hungary, the son of Benedek and Anna Pito Bellovics. He married Jolan Ladocsi on December 13, 1980, in Geneseo, IL. He worked as a machine operator for McLaughlin Body for 40 years, retiring in 1995. While working, he was a member of the U.A.W.
Marton enjoyed animals. His greatest love, besides his family, was gardening and spending time working in the yard. He loved all aspects of yard work, especially working with the earth.
Marton loved his family, and spending time with his niece and nephews. He will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jolan; nephews, Mike Bellovics and George (Patti) Bellovics; niece, Anna (Bob) Happel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steve Bellovics.
