Marvin Barger, 83, of Moline, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Per his wishes there will be no visitation and cremation rites have been accorded.
Marvin was born on December 31, 1930, in Metropolis, IL, the son of Newt and Elba May Barger. He was a veteran, having proudly served in the United States Army.

Grandson Jesse Barger
Sister Dorothy (Orbin) Busch
And several other family members
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark; brothers, Norman and Cletus; sister, Betty.
