Marvin Erickson, 82, of Sherrard, died on September 27, 2014 at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island.
Private family services have taken place and burial is at Beulah Cemetery, Orion. Kirk, Huggins and Esterdahl Funeral Home assisted the family.
Marvin was born on April 3, 1932 in Moline, the son of William and Lila Peterson Erickson. He was employed as a computer operator with the former Franciscan Hospital in Rock Island retiring in June of 1994. Marvin was a United States Navy Veteran having served during the Korean War. In his younger years Marvin enjoyed playing country and Hawaiian music on his steel guitar.
He is survived by his daughters
