Mary Lou Thorndyke, age 87, of Moline, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Comfort Harbor Home in Milan.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 6128 Airport Road, Moline. Visitation is 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to Faith Evangelical Free Church or Comfort Harbor Home.
Mary Lou was born December 27, 1924 in Galesburg, the daughter of John and Edna Anderson Lundeen. She married Herbert E. Thorndyke on October 8, 1944 in Moline. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1998.
Mary Lou was a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church. She enjoyed sewing, doing ceramics, painting and going shopping.
