Melissa L. Turner

Melissa L. Turner, 55, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

A funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd.  Visitation will be from 4:00 until service time.  Cremation will follow services and a private family burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Moline at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Melissa was born in Moline on April 10, 1966 the daughter of Marshall and Pamela Gustafson Martel.  She married David J. Turner on May 30, 2010 in Davenport, Iowa.

Melissa was employed at A.T. & T. for many years.  She loved to cook and was very good at it.  Above all was her love for family especially her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband; son, Jason (Angela Cutliff) Emerson; grandchildren, Bella, Skylar, Jaxxon and Harley; siblings, Nicole (Scott) Mueller and Josh Martel; Grandpa Clark; nieces and nephews, Tori, Claire, Cody, Kamden, and Landon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Joshua Dooley.
