Melvin Roy Morrow, 74, of Colona, IL, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Genesis Medical Center - East Campus, Davenport, IA.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to United Way or to the Salvation Army.
Melvin was born on May 1, 1940, in Prophetstown, IL, the son of Lawrence and Leona Rosenow Morrow. He married Lena Hood in 1960 and she preceded him in death in 1977. He later married Marilyn Knight in 1980.
Melvin worked at Deere & Company as an export order manager, retiring after 33 years. He enjoyed traveling, football, the casinos, and visiting with friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lena; and his brother, Marion.
