Michael "Mike" Bolt

Michael R. “Mike” Bolt, 55, formerly of Milan, passed away at Generations in Rock Island on Friday, October 4, 2019.

Cremation rites will take place and there will be no services.  Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion is assisting the family.

Mike was born on November 14, 1963, in Moline, the son of Richard and Olivia (Thornburg) Bolt.  He previously worked as a laborer.  He enjoyed fishing and liked to play basketball when he was younger.

Survivors include Mike’s mom, Olivia; brother, Tim (Stacey) Bolt; niece, Taylor Bolt; nephew, Aaron Bolt, and 2 granddaughters, Makayla and Cierra.

He was preceded in death by his son, Trent; and his father.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caring staff of Hospice Compassus and Generations for the care given to Mike.
