Michael "Mike" E. Brown

Michael “Mike” E. Brown, 68, of Cambridge, IL, passed away on July 27, 2026, at Hammond Henry Hospital in Geneseo.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday August 6, 2026, at Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Orion, is assisting the family.

Mike was born on December 28, 1957, in Moline, the son of G. Eugene and Shirley A. (Anderson) Brown. He married Michaelene Cook on October 10, 1992, in Orion. Mike was employed at River Valley Cooperative as a sprayer. He was an avid NASCAR fan who cheered on his favorite drivers every weekend.

Survivors include his wife, Michaelene; son, Jason (Amanda) Brown; sister, Pam (Randy) Ryan; brother-in-law, Todd Cook; brother and sister-in-law, Jamie & Amy Lawson; mother-in-law, Pam Schroeder; brother-in-law, Ryan Schroeder; nieces, Halie and Ava; nephews, Nate and Will.
