Michael "Mike" Irwin

Michael “Mike” Irwin, 54, of Moline, passed away, March 11, 2024, at UnityPoint Health Trinity.

 Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.   Memorials may be made to the educational and soccer fund for Gabriel.  

 Mike was born on October 7, 1969, in Moline, IL, the son of Donna M. (Mess) and Marvin G. Irwin. He married Gretchen D. Fick on October 29, 2005, in Moline, IL. Mike was known to be a sports card enthusiast and was a Notre Dame Football fan. Mike loved spending time with his son, from watching him play soccer for QC Rush to playing fantasy football together.

 Survivors include his wife, Gretchen; son Gabriel Irwin; mother Donna Irwin; his dog Angel; mother and father in-law Mark and Dee Fick; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Amanda and Randy Cashman; nephew Marcus; nieces Morgan and Mackenzie.

 He was preceded in death by his father Marvin.
