Michael "Mike" Rhoades

Michael “Mike” Rhoades, 65, of Moline, passed away, April 29, 2024, at his residence.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Orion.  Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the family.  

Mike was born on July 15, 1958, in Bristol, PA, the son of Greta Merle (Graf) and Charles Jerry Rhoades. Mike graduated from Orion High School in 1976. He worked as a groundskeeper at the Oakwood Country Club, and formerly at the Rock Island Arsenal. Mike loved the Seattle Seahawks, dancing, singing (especially to the Bee Gee’s), coaching his sons, visiting with his Parkside friends, and watching Hallmark movies.

Survivors include his father Charles Rhoades, two sons Chad (Sarah) Rhoades and Andy (Collette) Rhoades; grandchildren Maverick, Natalie, Brooks, Mason, Katherine, and William; siblings Peggy Dawson and Amy Rhoades.

He was preceded in death by his mother Greta Rhoades, sister Nancy Rhoades, and brother Steven (Peggy) Rhoades.
