Michael “Mike” Douglas Fredell, 54, of Sherrard, died, Friday, December 29, 2017, at Generations, Rock Island, IL.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Burial of his cremains will be at the Sherrard cemetery at a later date. Kirk, Huggins, and Esterdahl Funeral Home, Orion is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mike was born on January 25, 1963 in Moline, IL, the son of Ronald Lee and Shirley Carol Miller Fredell. He was a construction laborer, last working at Dick Work Masonary of Milan. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing, and was a member of a local hunting club.
Survivors include his parents, Ron and Shirley Fredell, Sherrard; his sister, Lisa (Doog) McDowell, Woodhull; and a niece and nephew, Sara and Cory, Woodhull.
He was preceded in death by his cousin, Dan Ray Kalinczak, grandparents, aunt, Beverly Barajas; and his uncle, Roger Fredell.
