Mildred N. Ransdell, age 95, formerly of Silvis, died Friday, November 14, 2008 at Riverview Manor, Pleasant Valley, IA.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.
Mildred was born December 29, 1912 in Ralls Co., MO, the daughter of William and Bertha (Hagen) Jeffries. She married Joe G. Ransdell on November 26, 1933 in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Mildred was employed in sales at Sears and JC Penney in earlier years.
