Minnie L. Hebdon, 86, of East Moline, died on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38 Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
Minnie was born on January 2, 1929, in Alexandria, Nebraska, the daughter of James and Marie Sinn Thompson. She married David Hebdon on October 16, 1948 in Clinton, IA, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2002.
Minnie was a homemaker, after her marriage. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Moline, where she assisted with funeral luncheons. She volunteered with the Girl Scouts and enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crocheting, and gardening.
