Myles "Ted" Edison Beavers

Myles “Ted” Edison Beavers, 92, of Moline, passed away, July 19, 2025, at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Moline Memorial Park, with military honors. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.

Myles was born on August 18, 1932, in Mercer Missouri, to parents Rose and Irl Beavers. He married Leta J. Green on March 9, 1957, in Corydon, Iowa. Myles graduated from Mercer High School. He is a US Army veteran, and he fought in the Korean War. Myles worked for and retired from Henschen Manufacturing as a steel fabricator. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping his neighbors. Myles was also a Yankee’s fan.

Survivors include his daughter, Sheryl (Vince) Huff; son, David Beavers; granddaughters, Leta (Kelin) Taylor, Gracie (Anthony) Nielsen, Samantha Huff, and Jessi; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Sayler, Stetson, Izzy, Cole, and Noah; sister, Marlene Stark.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and 6 siblings.
