Myrna Leta Harris

Myrna Leta Harris, 90, formerly of Moline, passed away on March 1, 2026, at Silver Cross Health and Rehabilitation in Rock Island.

Memorial services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday March 6, 2026, at Christ Church Quad Cities, 3801 7th Street, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Inurnment will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Myrna was born on March 3, 1935, in Moline, the daughter of Maurice D. and Leta L. (Enderton) Fox. She married Francis “Pete” Willard Harris on August 5, 1955, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Moline. Myrna had previously worked as an administrative assistant for Dr. Gerald Rauba in Moline. She was a caring person and volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels. Myrna was a former member of First Christian Church, East Moline, and a Brownie Troop Mother when her children were young. She loved her trips to Estes Park in Colorado. She enjoyed gardening, reading, scrapbooking, and being with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Pete; children, Melody Harris, Merrilee (Brad) Batten, Marlana (Keith) Karstens, Francis “Scott” (Debi) Harris; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Roger Fox, Dennis Fox, and Mark Fox.
