Nancy C. Ekblad, 65, of Moline, IL, died Friday, August 01, 2014, at Rosewood Care Center of Moline.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Nancy was born on January 27, 1949, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Ralph George and Melissa Helen Dickinson. She married Carl "Dick" Richard Ekblad on July 3, 1971. Nancy worked in the fluid power industries; working for John Lindholm Co., Dadco, and Nott Co. She recently retired from CCP Industries in January of 2014. She was also the past secretary and past president of the Quad Cities Chapter of the National Fluid Power Society.
Nancy enjoyed boating on the Lake of the Ozarks and for 18 years was a member of LOYA - Lake Ozark Yachting Association. She was a staff member of the 1967 Moline High School Reunion Committee.
