Nancy R. Harlow

Nancy R. Harlow, 65, of Colona, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at her home.

Funeral Mass will be held 9 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, 2208 4th Avenue, Rock Island.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, with a rosary to be recited at 3:15 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the church or her family for a fund to be established.

Nancy was born on July 7, 1957, in Rock Island, the favorite daughter of Arnold and Mary (White) Green. She married John P. Harlow on May 3, 1980, at Mary Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Orion. She was previously employed at IWI Motor Parts and St. Mary’s, retiring in 2021. She was a devoted member of St. Mary’s and was active with the Altar and Rosary Society and served as president for over 13 years.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Matt (Cara) Harlow, Dunlap, IL, Joe Harlow, Moline; grandson, Hunter Harlow; father, Arnold Green, Orion; sisters, Cathy Dickmann, Moline, Sally Beardsley, Buckeye, AZ, Diane (Rick) Mattson, Andalusia, Patty (Roger) Kasperbauer, Davenport; brothers, Dave Green, Orion, Tom (Kathy) Green, Orion, Bill (Anna) Green, Moline; aunt, Betty Harlan, Moline; uncle, Bob Green, Moline; brothers-in-law, Bill Harlow, Bloomfield, IA, Mike (Patty) Harlow, Moline; sisters-in-law, Lois Medley, Stoutland, MO, Glenda (Gary) Lange, Rock Island, Sue (Butch) Parker, Lebanon, MO, Doris Harlow, Moline, Beth (Donnie) Gilbraith, Durant, IA; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; and parents-in-law, Lee and Dorothy Harlow.
