Nancy Miles

Nancy Miles, 70, of East Moline, passed away, Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Trinity, Rock Island.

A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Monday, June 28, 2021, at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Rock Island County Animal Shelter.

Nancy was born on June 11, 1951, in Davenport, the son of Bill (Papa) and Shirley (Edens) Carnicle.  She married Morris Miles on August 22, 1981, in Rock Island.  He preceded her on October 16, 2007.  Nancy worked as a contract specialist for 32 years at the Rock Island Arsenal for TACOM.  She was known as a jokester that enjoyed making people laugh.

Survivors include her brother, Michael Carnicle, Cumming, GA; sister, Linda Shaw, Springfield, OH; niece, Andrea Gray, Beaver Creek, OH; grandniece, Adriana Gray; stepson, Mark (Dawn) Miles, East Moline; her little buddy, Mason the shih tzu; special friends, Jeannine Jones and Cheryl Mau.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
