Nancy Peterson

Nancy Peterson, 82, of Moline, IL, passed away May 25, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline are assisting the family with arrangements.

Nancy was born on November 24, 1942, in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of William Moyer. She married James E. Peterson on February 22, 1962, and were married for 60 years before his death on September 8, 2021. Nancy retired as a receiving associate at Sears after 30 years. She was a passionate Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed racing in the month of May.

Survivors include her children, Traci Peterson, Jim (Jill) Peterson Jr; grandchildren, Crystal, Jessica, and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Bailey, Addison, and Emmett.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband James.
