Naomi Mae Fiebig

Naomi Mae Fiebig, 89, of East Moline, passed away October 10, 2021, at Hope Creek Care Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local animal shelter. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Naomi was born on January 5, 1932, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Ellis and Leota (Geyer) Bell.  She married Edward J. ”Shorty” Fiebig on December 26, 1950, in McAllen, Texas.  He preceded her in death on February 18, 2004.  Naomi was previously employed at Midwest Janitorial.  She cleaned for ARA and previously worked at the Button Factory in Iowa.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and going to yard sales.

Survivors include her daughter, Diana Fiebig, Moline; grandson, Dennis Rhodes, Jr.; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her stepchildren, Betty Allen, Nancy Smith, and Richard Fiebig; siblings, Larry Bell, Dennis Bell, and Ruth Votruba.
