Nora N. (Buxbaum) Jones

Nora N. (Buxbaum) Jones, 83, of East Moline, passed away on September 2, 2026, at Hope Creek Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday September 10, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Nora was born on May 31, 1943, in Missouri, the daughter of Willis W. and Thitzie (Rockholes) Clark. She married George E. Jones, and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2010. Nora was self employed and a hard worker. She loved being with her family. She was very patriotic. She also loved to volunteer at her local church in Kentucky with her good friend, Carol.

Survivors include her children, Christian Buxbaum, Theresa Adams-Hardy, and Janet Kennedy; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Robert.
