Norma Sue Anderson

Norma Sue Anderson, 82, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at home.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Rose Lawn Memorial Estates. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Norma was born on September 3, 1931, in Winfield, AL, the daughter of Vernell and Ruby Morgan Sandlin. She married Vernis Paul Anderson on November 24, 1961, in Rock Island, IL, and he preceded her in death on December 28, 2010.

Norma enjoyed being a homemaker, crocheting, and gardening. She especially enjoyed cooking and feeding people. Family meant the world to Norma and she helped to raise most of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Dale Orsborn; daughter, Karen Stout; granddaughter, Allison Orsborn; grandson, Lenny Stout; brother, Louis Brice Sandlin.
