Norma N (Braggs) Lanzen

Norma N Lanzen, 89, of Hudson, WI, formerly of Moline, IL, passed into heaven with her family by her side November 2, 2021, at Woodland Hill Assisted Living in Hudson, WI.

Private graveside services will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL.  Memorials may be made to YouthHope, Moline.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline is assisting the family.

Norma was born on January 22, 1932, in Marion, IL, the daughter of Everett and Mae (Darter) Braggs.  She married Richard (Butch) Lanzen on April 10, 1949.  They were married for 62 years, until Richard's passing in 2011.  Norma was employed at Royal Neighbors Insurance, and later in the Accounting Department at Deere & Co.  She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, to whom she will be forever known as Nana.

Survivors include her sons, Steven (Janice) Lanzen and Brian (Debbie) Lanzen; grandchildren, Clint (Rachel) Lanzen, Michelle (Joel) Hartz, Kyle (Nealy) Lanzen, Elyse (Tom) Fox, and Annie (Josh) Schrock; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Marilyn (Lyle) Ryan of Peoria, AZ and Cheryl (Earl) Johnson of Redondo Beach, CA; and brother, William (Joy) Braggs of Phoenix, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, Glenna (Keith) Yuskis and Gene (Jay) Braggs; and grandchild, Sarah.
