Oren Keith Sass, 85 of East Moline, died on February 19, 2016 at Riverwood Rehab, East Moline.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded, there will be no services and inurnment will be at the National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal.
Keith was born on April 8, 1930 in North Liberty, Iowa the son of Lawrence and Irma Giehiemer Sass. He married NoraB M. Henson on September 2, 1972 in Moline, and she survives him.
Keith was first employed in Iowa City with a Ford dealership as a mechanic for 28 years. He then went on to the Longmont United Hospital in Colorado where he worked for 14 years. Keith was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed traveling.
