Pamela A. Kipp, 67, of Hampton, IL, died Sunday, March 20, 2016, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Peace Lutheran Church, 20828 Friedens Road, Port Byron, IL. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Burial will be at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Port Byron. Memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society.
Pamela was born on March 24, 1948, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Lloyd and Thelma Teel Montgomery. She married Gerald R. Kipp on August 4, 1972, in Milan, IL, and he preceded her in death on December 9, 2014. Pamela enjoyed traveling, especially with her husband, Gerald. She also loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Julie (Brian) De Porter, Colona, IL, Lorie (Roger) McGeehon, Rapids City, IL, and Melissa (Brett) Hugart, Port Byron, IL; son, Dana Kipp, Hampton, IL; 6 grandchildren, Tori McGeehon, Emily VandeWiele, Paige VandeWiele, Marcus Kipp, Gage Hugart, and Alexa Hugart; mother, Thelma Montgomery, Milan, IL; brothers, Dave Montgomery, Milan, IL, Mark (Pat) Montgomery, Milan, IL, Brad (Karla) Montgomery, Andalusia, IL, Tracey (Toni) Montgomery, Dixon, IL, and Monte Montgomery, Milan, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father and husband.
