Patricia "Pat" Hudson

Patricia “Pat” Hudson, 88, of Moline, passed away April 24, 2025, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Elim Covenant Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the church. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elim Covenant Church, Moline.

Pat was born on September 13, 1936, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Richard and Clara (Almblade) Hudson. Pat graduated from Moline High School in 1954 and often went out to lunch with her classmates. She received her teaching degree after graduating from North Park University. After teaching for a number of years, she became a librarian and retired as the director at the East Moline Public Library. Pat loved reading, adored cats, and collected teddy bears. With the Elim Covenant Church, she enjoyed taking part in “Operation Christmas Child” where she’d fill shoe boxes with toys, school supplies, and personal care items for children in need worldwide.

Survivors include several cousins, and her Elim family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Clara.
