Services will be officiated by Mike Ulmer of Table Grove, Illinois. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

Pat was born on November 20, 1941, in Macomb, Illinois, the eldest child of Hugh and Francis Farr of Table Grove, Illinois. She was later joined by her three brothers, Marshall, Don, and Dennis. She graduated from VIT High School in Table Grove and attended the University of Iowa. Pat earned her Registered Nurse degree from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Peoria before completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Illinois Chicago. She later attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and met her future husband, Don. She also earned a Master's degree in School Health from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Pat married Donald "Don" Rittenhouse on June 13, 1970, in Macomb, Illinois. Together they welcomed two sons, Todd and Mark, both born in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 1975, they returned to Illinois and lived in Table Grove for four years. During that time, they attended the United Church of Christ, and Pat taught LPN students at Canton Community College. In 1979, the family moved to Moline, where Pat began a 27-year career with Lutheran Hospital and later Trinity Medical Center, now UnityPoint Health Trinity, in Rock Island. Throughout her career, she served in a variety of roles, spending her final 13 years as a case manager before retiring in 2007.

Pat's greatest joy was her family. She loved raising her children and spent 12 years volunteering in Mark's classroom at Willard Elementary School. She enjoyed traveling, babysitting her grandchildren, and celebrating their milestones, including high school and college graduations. Pat was an avid swimmer who faithfully swam at RIFAC each day. She and Don also enjoyed camping for 15 years at Sun Retreats in Joslin. Together they shared 47 wonderful years in their Moline home.

Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband, Don; her son, Todd (Krista) Rittenhouse of Orion, Illinois, and their children, Claire, Will, Chloe, and Daniel; her son, Mark (Andrea) Rittenhouse of Coal Valley, Illinois, and their children, Kiersten, Madigan, and Braeden; her brother, Dennis (Letty) Farr of Springfield, Illinois; her sister-in-law, Susan Farr of Danville, Illinois; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Francis Farr, and her brothers, Marshall Farr and Don Farr.
