Pauline Nickell

Pauline Nickell, 102, of Moline, passed away, Monday, August 16, 2021, at River Crossing of Moline.

Private family services will be held.  Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery.  Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.

Pauline was born on April 17, 1919, in Hurstville, IA, the daughter of Oceola and Eva (Maur) McCard.  She married George Nickell on June 17, 1942, in Rock Island.  He preceded her in death on May 17, 1995.  Pauline worked as a model for Petersen Harned Von Maur as well as a buyer.  She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed playing golf.  Pauline volunteered for Parents Too Soon.

Survivors include her son, Michael (Beth) Nickell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 brother and 3 sisters.
