Perfectua L. "Faye" Hesford

Perfectua "Faye" L. Hesford, age 68, of Ophiem, died Friday, August 10, 2012 at her residence.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial dance will be held at The Barn in New Boston on August 19, 2012 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. Orion is assisting the family.
Faye was born April 7, 1944 in Manila, Philippines to Trifon Abordo and Cornelia Paglinawan. She married David Hesford and he preceded her in death in 1985.
Faye was employed as a factory laborer and later was the owner operator of "Faye's Kitchen" in Muscatine. She was a member of the Catholic Church as well as the Native American Coalition of the Quad Cities. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, cook outs, powwows and camping as well as crocheting, playing cards and dancing.
