Rachel Baughman

Rachel B. Baughman,74, of Moline, IL, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, Il. Cremation will take place following the visitation. Memorials may be made to the family.

Rachel was born on May 29, 1948, in Moline, IL., the daughter of Ralph and Eileen (Rexroade) Wilson. She married Danny L. Baughman June, 1983, in Rock Island, IL. She was previously employed as a procurement clerk, retiring from the Rock Island Arsenal after 26 years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and taking long rides in the country. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: daughter, Deana Wilson, Omaha, NE., son, Jonathan Wilson, Moline, IL., daughter, Jennifer Rowan, Anna, Illinois: grandchildren, Tyries Wilson, Sheniquia Wilson, Quayshawn Wilson, Chelsee Howard, Kenesha Howard, Natalia Denato, Anthony Williamson, Taylor Downum, Elizabeth "Eliza" Wilson, Gauge Wilson: 9 great-grandchildren: brother, David Wilson, Rock Island, IL., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Jane; brothers, Vernon, Doren, and Danny.
