Rachel Richardson, 98, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Riverwood Rehab, East Moline, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to Moline Community Church of Nazarene.
Rachel was born on October 10, 1915, in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Edgar and Lottie (Bell) Lothridge. She married Kent E. Richardson on July 12, 1937, in Muscatine, IA, and he preceded her in death on July 27, 1984.
Rachel enjoyed the simple things in life and her family gave her great joy. She had a wonderful sense of humor and attended the Moline Community Church of the Nazarene for 40 years.
