Ralph D Jones

Ralph D. Jones, 83, of Coal Valley, passed away, Monday, October 18, 2021, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be held 1-hr prior at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.

Ralph was born on February 8, 1938, in Vancouver, WA, the son of Ralph and Ruth (Potters) Jones.  He married Shirley Anderson on December 24, 1968, in Moline.  She preceded him in death on May 1, 2009.  Ralph was a member of N.R.A.  He enjoyed spending time with his family going fishing, hunting, and mushroom hunting.

Survivors include his children, Tim (Trish) Beckman, Rock Island, IL, Ruth (Mitch) Beebe, Rifle, CO, Terry (Sandy) Beckman, Gray, TN, Sandra Bradley, FL; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and brother, George Jones, GA.

He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter, Sandra Bradley; 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
