Randi L. Gartelos

Randi L. Gartelos, 79, of East Moline, passed away on April 10, 2026, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12 p.m.

Randi was born on April 11, 1946, in New York, the daughter of Bill and Donna (Kelly) Hart. She married John J. Gartelos on July 10, 1977, in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on December 22, 2018. In earlier years, Randi worked as a physical therapy assistant. She was an avid gardener and spent much of her time working on crossword puzzles. She loved being around horses, visiting the mountains, and fishing with her late husband. Randi loved the holidays, but Christmas was her favorite. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandkids.

Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Bance; son, Kurt (Amy) Laud; daughter, Niki (Jesse) Doty; grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler), Cody, Mason, Hannah, Zac, Emma, Jonathan; great grandchildren, Ollie, Alec, Ivy, Archer; sister, Pam Bogart; brothers, Ed (Pam) Hart and Keene (Wendy) Hart; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
