Raul Solis

Raul Solis, 72, of Rock Island, passed away, Tuesday, February 09, 2021, at UnityPoint Health Trinity Rock Island.

Private family services will be held at this time.  The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed on Raul’s obituary at esterdahl.com starting on Friday at 1:00 pm.  Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park.  Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.

Raul was born on April 5, 1948, in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, the son of Patricio and Rafaela (Ibarra) Solis.  He married Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez on February 7, 2011.  He worked for Black Hawk Foundry as a laborer.  Raul enjoyed music and playing pool with his brothers.  He loved cookouts and playing sports with his family.

Survivors include his wife; 7 children; 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 7 brothers, and 1 sister.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Manuel Solis.
